Helen Pearl Sams

Helen Pearl Sams, 85, of Vienna, passed away December 17, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born August 25, 1934 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Joseph Nagy and Ruby Reed Nagy Pickens. Helen was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, she was a homemaker and enjoyed ceramics. Helen was a member of the Rosemar United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Mike Sams (Marie), Greg Sams (Connie) and Steve Sams (Candi) all of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Schofield of Ritchie County, WV and Laura Thompson of Parkersburg, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Sams, Jr. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Pastor Gene Full officiating. Burial will be in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 Friday and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home.
