Helen Genevieve Litton

Helen Genevieve Litton, 89, of Mineral Wells, WV, passed away peacefully July 12, 2019, at Cedar Grove Assisted Living, Parkersburg, with her loving family by her side. She was born August 30, 1929, in Roane County, WV, the daughter of the late Raymond and Deffie Mae Perkins. Genevieve was a homemaker and a member of the Chesterville U.M. Church. She enjoyed gardening, singing and spending time with her family. She is survived by a son, Robert (Bob) Litton (Teresa) of Mineral Wells, WV; daughter, Kimberly Tribble of Vienna, WV; sister, Judy Knopp (Leon) of Mineral Wells, WV; brother, Ronald Perkins of Spencer, WV; grandchildren, Kristy Cramlet (Brad) of Mineral Wells, WV and Eric Litton (Kayla) of Surprise, AZ; great-grandchildren, Austin and Wyatt Litton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Foster Litton; brothers, Ray, Larry Elbert and Randal Perkins; sisters, Alice Marie Nichols and Janice Batten. Funeral services for Genevieve will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg with Pastor Lloyd Keith officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Herman Cemetery near Harmony, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Cedar Grove Assisted Living and House Calls Hospice for their love and care of Genevieve.
