Helen Louise Lemon

Helen L. Lemon, 91 of Belpre, Ohio passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 5, 2020. She was born April 8, 1928 in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late Sadie Tucker. She was a 1946 graduate of Spencer High School. Mrs. Lemon was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, James Oris Lemon of Belpre, Ohio and daughter Anita Lockhart (Jeff Smith) of Parkersburg; grandchildren Alan Lemon, Jr. of Belpre, Ohio, Jason Lemon and wife Joni of Belpre, Ohio, Nicole Barker and husband Eric of Ashville, NC, Jodi Lemon-Sidwell of Belpre, Ohio, and Kayla Watson and husband Ryan of Morgantown, WV; nine great-grandchildren with the 10th to be born in June; and daughter-in-law Betty Jo Lemon of Belpre She was preceded in death by her mother and one son Alan Lemon. The family would like to thank Marietta Home Health and Hospice for their services and for being so kind. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Dobbie Thrash officiating. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
