Helen Jane Griffin Andrews, 81, of Parkersburg passed away peacefully on Feb. 13, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 7, 1936 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Mary Virginia “Gino” Griffin and Paul Griffin. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and was a 1955 graduate of Parkersburg Catholic. Helen is survived by her five children, Doug Andrews of Buford, Ga., Debbie (Steve) Fought and Cindy Deem of Parkersburg, Michael (Denita) Andrews of Riverside, Ca. and Sean Andrews of Parkersburg; her six grandchildren, Jaymes, Josh, Linsey, Heather, Christy and Ryan along with her great-grandchildren Stella, Mason, Mariah, Issac, Kane, Lillie and Taylor; her two sisters, Mary Ann Campbell and Peggy (Jeff) Sheridan of Parkersburg; three brothers, Michael (Susan) Griffin of Arlington, Texas, J. Patrick (Jean Ann) Griffin of Roswell, Ga. and Tom Griffin of Chandler, Az.; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Andrews. A mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 2500 Dudley Ave. Parkersburg with Rev. Stephen Vallelonga Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with Vigil at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask you to donate to Mathew 25 at St Margaret Mary Church.
