Helen L. Grant, 67, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away peacefully on March 6, 2011 after a long illness.She was born on Oct. 9, 1943, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Normus and Faye Vincent.She is survived by her companion Donald E. Mason and his son, Bryan of Parkersburg; five sons, Gary Fordyce of Jackson, S.C., Randy Fordyce of Pikeville, Ky., Mark Fordyce (Christy Ryan), Scott Fordyce and Paul Fordyce, all of Parkersburg; two daughters, Sandie (Jim) Erb of Marietta, Oh. and Kim Fordyce (Jim Wade) of Parkersburg; six grandchildren, Stancy, Lyniea, Dylan, Dakota, Logan and Dillon; one great-granddaughter, Sophia; three brothers, Bo (Eileen) Vincent, Dale (Opal) Vincent and Carl Vincent; six sisters, Joann Alexander, Nora (Dennis) Metz, Karen Wolfe, Cheryl (Rick) Dawson, Debbie (Steve) Mulinex and Janet Dutton; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Fordyce; one brother, Russell and one sister, Donna.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wed. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Phil Prunty officiating.Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tues. at the funeral home.
