Helen Kathleen Echard

Helen Kathleen Echard, 82, of Belpre, Ohio passed away December 8, 2015 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born June 30, 1933, in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Jenneys Cecil Echard and Alice M. McGyre Echard. Helen worked as a short order cook for Veterans Homes and attended 1st Luthern Church at 19th and Plum Streets in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She is survived by a son, Thomas Echard of Parkersburg, W.Va.; her brother, Joseph Echard; and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Echard; her brother, Thomas Echard; and sisters, Dorcas Echard and Virginia Myers. At her request there will be no service. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio, is assisting the family with arrangements.
