Helen Louise Deem, 63, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to be with her Savior on Feb. 27, 2013 at her daughter's home in Palestine, W.Va.She was born April 2, 1949, in Wood Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Winiford E. and Betty Elizabeth Curry Life.Helen was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and a member of the Peoples Apostolic Church in Parkersburg. She was a truck driver and drove as a team with her husband for Lenertz Trucking. She also was a delivery driver for Quest, in which she delivered medical supplies.She is survived by four children, Barbara Sue Rapp Jarrell (Sean) of Parkersburg, W.Va., George Michael Deem (Tina Rene) of Parkersburg, W.Va., Tammy Belinda Sims (Charles Eli) of Palestine, W.Va., and Joshua Allen Deem of Parkersburg, W.Va.; five siblings, Winiford E. Life Jr. of Parkersburg, W.Va. Carolyn S. Bennett (Larry) also of Parkersburg, W.Va., Russell C. Life (Linda) of Stow, Ohio, Dennis Life, Ellen S. Biehl (Ernest) of Lowell, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Dustin Westfall, Maryshia Westfall, Makayla Westfall, Bryanne Deem, Mari Deem, Ty Buskirk, Amber Deem and Angel Deem; and three great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Joe Deem in 2004; and three siblings, Anna Judson, Jackie Life and Shelby Wilson.Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastors Mike Seebaugh and David Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at the Skidmore Cemetery.Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to8:00 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
