Helen M. Carpenter

Helen M. Carpenter, 92, passed away February 25, 2026 at Rockland Ridge in Belpre, OH. She was born March 14, 1933 in Five Forks, WV to the late Delfred R. and Irene Shomo Wilson.

Helen was a 1951 Calhoun High School graduate. She was retired from Walmart and was a homemaker. Helen enjoyed cooking and attended Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Edward G. Carpenter (Robin), Michael A. Carpenter (Barbara), Gary W. Carpenter (Patricia), and Jeremy D. Carpenter (Stacy); nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Carpenter; sister, Betty J. Kuhn; and her brother, Charles E. Wilson.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2026 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Todd Hill officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.
