Helen Jeanette Bayles

She was born March 23, 1936, in Creston, WV, a daughter of the late Elza G. and Blanch Williams Lockhart.
Helen enjoyed reading and collecting red bird figurines. She was a member of Bull Run United Methodist Church, Waverly, WV.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa F. Bayles; four sons, Billy J. Bayles (Monica), Phillip N. Bayles (Tressa), Thomas B. Bayles and Bradley S. Bayles (Rhonda); sister, Carol Zahnizer; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandsons.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Oliver T. Bayles; two sisters; six brothers; and two great-granddaughters, Marissa O. Wagner and Brooklyn K. Bayles.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Randy Dornon officiating. Burial will follow at Corbin Cemetery in Waverly, WV. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
