Harry Clyde Street, Sr., 90, formerly of Belpre, Ohio passed away on March 25, 2019 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Harry was born on April 5, 1928, in Clay, West Virginia, to parents James Oliver Street and Florence Loie Street. Harry served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post 15042. He spent his career as an ironworker and a manager in industrial construction. He was a member of Belpre Blue Lodge 609, Aladdin Temple Shriner, Columbus OH, and Scottish Rite Mason, Cambridge, OH. Harry was a caring man and loving father. He married his beloved wife, Imogene Fields, in 1950 and they had five children together. He celebrated and enjoyed his life with family and friends. Harry was a religious man and served his Lord at Victory Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach, SC. Harry is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Dalton, Wilson, Dennis, Kermit, and Noble. He is survived by this wife of 69 years, Imogene; his four daughters and sons-in-laws, Dianna & Dennis Thornburg, Charlotte Cain, Karen & Scott Sosa and Pam & Earl Allman; his son and daughter-in-law, Harry & Christy Street, Jr.; his only sister, Maxine Houston; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church. The family will be receiving friends and relatives beginning at 11:00 AM.
