Harry Jackson Lake

Harry Jackson “Jackie” Lake, age 47 of Parkersburg, WV passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
He was born September 20, 1977, in Seoul, South Korea, a son of Virginia Wigley Lake of Independence, WV and the late James Lake. Jackie was a graduate of Preston High School, Preston County, WV, and graduated from WVU with a master’s degree in EMBA. He was a US Army Veteran. Jackie was employed at the Public Debt and enjoyed being with his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Virginia Lake, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Megan Cheuvront Lake; his children, Kathryn Lake and Carter Lake of the home; his sister, Kim Lake of Pittsburgh, PA; father and mother-in-law, Steve and Jenean Cheuvront of Vienna; two brothers-in-law, Alex (Victoria) Cheuvront of Elkins, WV and Nic Cheuvront (Bri) of Charleston, SC and one niece, Justice Redman.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Pastor Bill Brown officiating and full military rites by American Legion Post 15 and the WV Army Reserves. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516, in memory of Jackie.
