Harry Dale

Harry Dale Cox, 72, of Belleville, W.Va., passed away on Nov. 12, 2015 at The Arbors in Marietta.He was born August 16, 1943, in Lowdell, W.Va., a son of the late James Alfred Cox and Catherine Lucinda Conrad Cox Ward.Harry was a retired truck driver after 42 years of service. He enjoyed farming and old tractors. He especially enjoyed his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, Stella Rader Cox; two daughters, Cheryl Delancy of Belleville and Mary (Jerry) Peters of Rockport, W.Va.; two half-brothers, Charles Ward of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Steven Ward of Harrisville, W.Va.; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives including nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Edgar and Frances Conrad; brother, Edwin Cox; sister, Norma Reynolds; and his granddaughter, Ashley Delancy.A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg will be assisting the family with arrangements.
