Harold “Jack” Shultz, 82, of Parkersburg, W.Va. was called to be with his Lord on January 24, 2013.He was born October 19, 1930, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Harry A. and Clara Marty Shultz.Jack was a home builder for 20 years, an auctioneer for 27 years and retired from G.E. Plastics (formerly Borg-Warner) after 28 years of service. He enjoyed wood working and was a member of the Lynn Street Church of Christ.He is survived by his wife, Merna Wise Shultz; three sons, Roger Shultz (Jean) and Delmer Shultz (Jodi), both of Pomeroy, Ohio and Kelly Shultz (Mary Beth) of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; two daughters, Elaine Tucker (Jim) of Washington, W.Va. and Sherri Davis (Buddy) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Anna Kerns Richards of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Madelone Beeson of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Laura Alban (Dave) of Iowa, David Shultz (Jennel) of Montana, Gloria Tucker of Columbus, Ohio, Brian Shultz of Maryland, Brooke Carpenter Nichols (Ken) of Parkersburg, W.Va., Kristen Butler (Travis) of Florida, Kara McAtee (Adam) of Walker, W.Va. and Allison Daggett (Chris) of Washington, W.Va.; 13 great grandchildren, Blayde, Sterling, Christopher, Zachary, Kasey, Kyle, Kassidy, Jaycee, Jordyn, Jaxon, Isaiah, Levi and Titus; 16 step-grandchildren, greats and great-greats; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Randy Shultz; three sisters, Jean Cooper, Ora Bosley Powell and Mary Roberts Bibbee.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Teddy Tackett officiating. Family graveside services will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lost Pavement Road. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
