Harold B. Cochran, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away on December 9, 2014 at Genesis Health Care Center.He was born February 22, 1925, in Glen Falls, W.Va., a son of the late John R. and Nancy Ella Conley Cochran.Harold had previous worked at Imperial Ice Cream, Southern States and Hogel Atlas in Clarksburg and retired from Borg Warner Chemicals.He loved music and was a member of the Lubeck Church of Christ.He is survived by one daughter, Lynda D. (Larry) Morris of Kodak, Tenn.; two sons, James A. (Ann) Cochran of Fairhaven, Mass. and Rick (Linda) Cochran of Sebring, Fla.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Cochran, Cristopher S. (Mary) Morris, and Kelli (Jeff) Coleman; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Joshua Cochran, Brendan and Reese Coleman, Tyler and Michael Strothers, Christal Martinez, Christal Costa, and Paul Poitras; great-great-grandchildren, Daks, Ezra, and Moxie Martinez, and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian G. Wood Cochran; and one grandson, Gregory Cochran.Funeral services will be held 1:00 on Friday, Dec. 12, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg with Evangelist Steve Fuchs.Entombment will follow at Sunset Mausoleum.Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11, at the funeral home.
