Harley “Scotty” Scott, 78, of Belleville, W.Va. passed away on May 5, 2011 at his residence.He was born August 24, 1932, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Raymond E. and Dora M. Small Scott.Harley was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Laborers Union Local #1085. He was a member of Sarepta Baptist Church.He is survived by two sons, Robert E. (Orlena) Scott and John E. (Becky) Scott, both of Belleville, W.Va.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Irene Scott; one son, Harley Scott Jr.; his twin sister, Helen “Midge” Butler and his sister, Claristine McCoy.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg,W.Va. with Pastor Frank Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Wadesville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
