Gwendolyn Ritchie

Gwendolyn White Ritchie, 90, of Parkersburg passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.

She was born April 13, 1933 in White Pine, WV, a daughter of the late Ola Oscar and Lorena Grimm White. Gwendolyn was an artist and painter and a life member of the Red Hill United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son Jeff Ritchie (Karen) of Washington, WV; her sister, Judith McGrath (Richard) of Canandaigua, NY; her granddaughter, Amber Dawn Ivey (Keith) of South Carolina and great-grandchildren, Peyton and Addison Ivey.

In addition to her parents, Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Ritchie; a son, Randall Ritchie; sisters, Madeline Kight, Millie Hayhurst and Dorothy Howard and one brother, Bill White.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Mary Zimmer officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Hill United Methodist Church, 2-198 Red Hill Church Rd, Parkersburg, WV 26104, in memory of Gwendolyn.
