Grace A. Schmidt-Ferrell
February 23, 1938 — December 14, 2024
Grace A. Schmidt-Ferrell, 86, of Parkersburg, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Worthington Healthcare. She was born February 23, 1938 in Lancaster, OH to the late Everett F. and Jennie A. Schmidt.
Grace was a homemaker and a huge advocate for animals. She loved flowers, cardinals, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jennifer Smith of Belleville; grandchildren, Ashlie Ferrell, Brandon and Brodi Elder, Cayla Wright, and Lacie Ferrell; several great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jane.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Cumpston; husband, Richard H. Ferrell; great-grandson, Broc Wright; and son-in-law, Roger Smith.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
