Gladys Luella Alabaugh, 92, of Gallipolis, OH, formerly of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on December 23, 2018 at Holzer Assisted Living of Gallipolis. She was born October 26, 1926 in Vinton County, OH, a daughter of the late Ernest J. and Lillian A. Boyce Thacker. She is survived by a son, Larry (Kim) Snyder of Racine, OH; a daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Ohlinger of Cooke City, MT; three grandchildren, Melissa Snyder Wooten of Virginia Beach, VA, John (Catherine) Snyder of Bidwell, OH and Veronika Ohlinger of Cooke City, MT; six great grandchildren, Derek (Lydia) Wooten of Dayton, OH, Tyler Wooten of Virginia Beach, VA, Kanessa (Josh) Jackson of Gallipolis, OH, Jacob, Ryan, and Lilly Snyder, all of Bidwell, OH; a great great grandson, Lucas Wooten; a good friend, Lois Snyder; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Snyder; second husband, Frank M. “Buddy” Reynolds; third husband, Richard Alabaugh; eight brothers, Edward, Elmer, Leroy, Clayton, Playford, Ernest “Bug”, Homer “Ory” Thacker and Bill Dorton; four sisters, Bell Elizabeth Perry, Louise Radcliff, Marguerite Bowe and Sylvia Hayburn.
