Gilbert "Gib" Paul Webb

Gilbert Paul Webb, Sr. “Gib”, 72, of Belleville, W.Va. passed away March 3, 2015 at his residence.He was born December 11, 1942, in Parkersburg, W.Va. the son of the late Albert John and Ruth Biesner Webb.Gib was employed by AB Chance for 31 years and retired in 1994. He was a member of the U.Sa. Army (National Guard) and a member of Belleville Baptist Church where he served as a “Deacon”.He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Marks whom he married December 14, 1963; one son, Gilbert P.(Christina) Webb, Jr. of Parkersburg; one daughter, Mindy (Mike) Robinson of Belleville; brothers; Charles Webb of Delaware, Jim Webb of Waverly, W.Va., William Webb of Alabama, Lewis Webb of Florida, Carl Leroy Webb of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Lona “Sue” Mulligan of Parkersburg and Mildred Whipkey of Texas; nine grandchildren and thirteen great- grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Coleman, four brothers, Robert, Virgle , Lonnie Webb and Fred Webb; one sister, Bonnie.Services for Gib will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Belleville Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Dornan officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Military Rites will be provided by American Legion Post #15
