Gertrude Davis, 89 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Willows Nursing Facility.She was born February 11, 1922 in Wyoming County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harrison and Emma Samson Bailey.She was retired from Boone Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Vienna, W.Va.Gertrude is survived by four sons, Tommy Young (Marina) of Bob White, W.Va., Toney Young (Carolyn) of Madison, W.Va., Cleo Young (Nadine) of Vienna, W.Va., and David Young (Patty) of Madison, W.Va.; one daughter, Sue Williams (Jerry) ofVienna, W.Va.; two step-daughters, Shelba Burger of Columbus, Ohio and Sue Sexton of NC; eight grandchildren, Kenny Young, Tony Young, Kathy Honeycutt, Lisa Kuhn, Tammy Charcandy, Kim White, Terry Williams, and Beth Moore; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Davis; seven brothers; and two sisters.Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of services Monday at the funeral home.The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice and the Willows Nursing Facility for their love and care.
