Gerald “Jerry” P. Enoch, 74 a resident of Heartland of Marietta passed away in Canton, Ohio May 9, 2016. He was born June 24, 1941 in Parkersburg, W.Va. son of the late Ralph W. Enoch and Virginia D. Trader Mahoney. He was a 1960 graduate of PHS and had worked at Universal Supply as a Salesman and had served in the Marine Reserves. Jerry enjoyed taking guitar lessons from a special friend, Mark Doebrich who visited him weekly at Heartland. He is survived by a daughter, Paula (Kevin) Oliphant; seven grandchildren, Gage Oliphant, Kathryn-Grace Staats, Abigale and Hannah Darnell, and Henry, Quentin and Skye Oliphant; siblings, Gene (Barbara) Enoch, Bill Gilbert, Nancy (Doug) Batton, Michael Enoch, Joseph (Maria) Enoch, Karen Turner, Pam Freed, Penny Johnson and Mark Mahoney; and best friend and former wife, Bonnie (Coy) Snodgrass of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmothers, Edna Enoch and Grace Enoch; and brother-in-law, Keith Turner. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Jason Spade officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
