Gerald T. Beckett

Gerald T. Beckett, 78, of Parkersburg passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1939 in Ona, WV, a son of the late Garnet Clark Beckett. He enjoyed traveling by train and on foot and was extremely dedicated to his brother, John. He enjoyed spending time with the Shedd family. Gerald is survived by his brother, John Beckett of Parkersburg; and friends, Stephen and Heather “Feathers” Shedd and their children, Stephanie, Olivia, and Tyler Shedd all of Mineral Wells. The family would like to thank the Amedisys Hospice Care team for their love and support given to Gerald. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Interment will follow at the St. Frances Xavier Catholic Cemetery, Parkersburg. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St., Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
