Georgiana Larue Myers, 76, of Parkersburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born January 7, 1942, in Marion County, WV, daughter of the late George Radka and Elwanda Herron Radka Perdew. Georgiana was a member of Kanawha United Methodist Church. She had a green thumb, she worked at Dudley’s for many years and later had her own greenhouse and sold flowers of her own. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Christy (Jay) Valvo of Parkersburg; two sons, Ricky (Christina) Myers of Vienna and Timothy (Heather) Myers of Parkersburg; brother, Larry Radka of Parkersburg; 7 grandchildren, Chelsea Myers, Hayley (Jonathan) Cobb, Kathryn (Zac) Dickel, Justin Myers, James, Cody and Nicolas Valvo; one great-grandchild, Ezekiel Cobb; 2 brothers in-law, Larry (Carrie) Myers and Wick Cummins. In addition to her parents, Georgiana was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Neil A. Myers; son, Brian; granddaughter, Hannah Valvo; sister in-law, Karen Cummins; and father and mother in-law, Stanley and Olive Myers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
