George Frederick King

George Frederick King, 66 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away May 1, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born September 20, 1948 in Parkersburg, W.Va. a son of the late William A. Sr. and Helen Bartlett King. He enjoyed watching television, listening to music and going out to eat. He was a resident of Colin Anderson Center for 32 years and of Westbrook Group Home for 18 years.George is survived by a sister, Virginia “Jinny” Murphy of Parkersburg; a brother, William A. King Jr. of Chesapeake, VA; a nephew; and several cousins.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Bartlett King.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
