Gary T. Willis

Gary T. Willis, 72, of Walker, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born July 9, 1944, in Bristol, VA, a son of the late James Franklin and Maxie Elizabeth Fields Willis. Gary was a Carpenter with the Local Union #899, a Vietnam Veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post #15. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with family. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Deem Willis; his three children, Tracey Walker of Bristol, TN., James Franklin Willis of Walker, WV, and Amanda (Leo) Pauley of Parkersburg, WV; one sister, Marjorie Harr of Bristol, TN; one brother, Doyle (Sandra) Willis of Bristol, TN; seven grandchildren, Paul Josten, Christopher Poling, Jenna Walker, Ty Willis, Alayna Walker, Madeline Willis, and Joseph Pauley. In addition to his parents Gary was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Whitson and one brother, Jimmy Willis. At Gary's request there will be no service. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, Parkersburg will be assisting the family.
