Gary C. Van Skiver

Gary C. Van Skiver, Sr. 75, of Vienna, passed away December 4, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born May 7, 1944 in Sayre, PA, the son of the late Carlton Van Skiver and Charlena (Rose) Van Skiver. Gary served in the US Army from 1962 to 1965. He owned and operated Van’s Auto Repair for over 25 years. Gary enjoyed competition shooting, watching the Green Bay Packers and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Cathy of 39 years; son, James (Angie); daughter, Crystal (John); four grandchildren, James, Jessica, Ryan and Katelyn and brother, Roland John Van Skiver, Sr. He was a very kind and loving and generous man, who will be greatly missed by family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary C. Van Skiver, Jr. and sister, Norma Jean Collins. A memorial service for Gary will be held at 3:00 P.M., Monday, December 9, 2019, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
