Gary Warren Brookover

Gary Warren Brookover, 77, of Parkersburg, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Wood County, WV, a son of the late Paul Brookover Sr. and Orma Coe Brookover. Gary was a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Camden Clark Medical Center where he worked in the lab. He enjoyed Facebook and reading. Gary is survived by his wife, Alice Dobbins Brookover; a daughter, Tina Randolph of Parkersburg; a step-son, Michael Dugan (Terri) of Mineral Wells; two grandchildren, Savannah and Amber; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Paul Brookover Jr. (Linda) of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Harley Brookover. Funeral services for Gary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastors Thomas Hall and Randall Fusion officiating. Services will begin with full military honors by the American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
