Frederick "Dick" Lowell Reed

Frederick Lowell “Dick” Reed, 75, of Ravenswood, W.Va. passed away on April 22, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.He was born November 25, 1939, in Sherman, W.Va., a son of the late Harman and Nellie Lambert Reed.Dick was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had been employed at Jackson County DOH and Board of Education as a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming.He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Brindo (Dan) of Elizabeth, W.Va.; his son, Rick Reed of New Bern, N.C.; his sister, Dolly Hiser (Jim) of Ohio; his long time caregiver, Diane Lane, whom he also considered a daughter, of Ravenswood, W.Va.; his grandson, Dalton Brindo; and April Lane, whom he considered his granddaughter.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; and four brothers.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. will be assisting the family with arrangements. In honoring with Dick's request, there will be no visitation or services.
