Freda Nicholson

Freda Nicholson, 91, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed away on December 10, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 20, 1923, in Roane County, W.Va., a daughter of the late John L. and Glada Brannon Boggs.Freda was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She was an avid hunter and fisherman. She was a member of the Eastern Star.She is survived by two daughters, Peggy (Harvey) Morrison and Pamela (Chuck) Exline, both of Elizabeth; one son, Harvey S. (Cathy) Nicholson of Grantsville, W.Va.; grandchildren, Shana Nicholson, Julie Preston, and Andy Dennis; step-granddaughter, Amy Sheppard; great-grandson, Thomas Nicholson; and longtime friends, Eva Jones and Julie Taylor.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey H. Nicholson; one grandson, H. Michael Morrison; and siblings, Dalton, George, Icie, Voliet and Garnet.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Steve Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
