Freda Eileen Chapman

Freda Eileen Chapman, 83, of Mineral Wells passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on February 14, 2024. She was born a daughter to the late Lemuel and Freda Smith Dennis.

She retired from Camden Clark Hospital as a phlebotomist in 1998. She enjoyed crocheting, Jig Saw puzzles, playing Yahtzee, and watching game shows. She was an avid Mountaineer and Green Bay Packer fan, loved reading the bible, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Caroline Knotts (Joey),  Micky Blough (Judy), and Rick Blough (Sandy) all of Parkersburg; step children, Kim Trimble and Debbie Rogers of Parkersburg, Kim Ginther(Greg) of Marietta, and Greg Kelly of North Carolina; grandchildren, Angel Coss, James Coss, T.J. Knotts, Shaleia Ferguson, Amanda Williams, Brad Blough, Nicole Sloter, Lori Winter, Amy Balderson and Tony Hunt; great-grandchildren, Carter Coss, Callie Coss, Caleb Coss, Juylia Prelle, Steven Williams, Cody Williams; many other great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Chapman; daughters, Chrie Clevenger and Vickie Blough; five brothers; and son-in-law Todd Clevenger.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the services.
