Fred W. Boston, 88, of Vienna, WV passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born September 10, 1937 in Bellaire, OH to the late Willard E. and Clarabelle Littleton Boston.

Fred was an outdoor lover, especially with fishing and hiking. He and his son once did 150 miles on the Appalachian Trail during Bruce’s scout days. Fred was known as the “yankee metal bender” because he could make anything out of metal. He served 50 years at Local #33 Sheet Metal Construction. Fred had fond memories of him and his wife participating in craft shows, selling items they had made together.

Left to carry his memory include his son, Bruce W. Boston (Diana) of Vienna; his sister, Jeanne Yoak of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Steven and Emily Boston of South Charleston, WV and Charles Boston of Vienna; his great-grandson, Rowan Boston of South Charleston; and his second wife, Cheri Noah.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Joan M. Williams Boston; and his son, Richard E. Boston.

The Memorial Service will be October 26th, at Vienna Baptist Church, Visitation from 1pm-3pm, and Service at 3pm.
