Franklin T. “Frank” Cain, 86, of Parkersburg, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1933, in Gilmer County, WV, a son of the late Columbus and Izen Anderson Cain. Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from A.B. Chance Company after several years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the 14th Ave. Gospel Mission. He is survived by his son, Frank Cain (Kelli) of Little Hocking; three daughters, Nancy Hoselton (Dale) of Mineral Wells, Carole Fortney (Brian) of Belpre and Dianna Hayes (Mike) of Parkersburg; special friend, Tootie Thorne; four grandchildren, Frankie Cain, Alisha Shamblin, Jessica Marlow and Jason Fortney; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Mae Cain; and seventeen brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Burial will follow at Nobe Cemetery in Calhoun County. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
