Francis James “Jim” Dornon, 35, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born March 29, 1981 in Parkersburg, a son of Walter F. Dornon Jr. of Dyer, Indiana and Elizabeth Ann Williamson of Davisville, W.Va. Jim graduated from Belpre High School with the class of 2000. He formerly worked at Simex in Pleasants County, W.Va. He loved hunting, fishing, and working on cars. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of ten years, Missy Dornon; one son, James and one daughter Whitney of the home; one brother, Roger Dornon of Davisville, W.Va.; his mother and father in-law, Sarah and Bobby Vance of Parkersburg; two brothers-in-law, Allen and Robbie Vance both of Parkersburg and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter (Pete) Dornon III; paternal grandparents, Walter and Nancy Dornon Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Harley and Connie Williamson. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg with John Barker officiating. Burial will be at Herndon Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
