Frances Maybelle Reeder, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the age of 96. Born and raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Maybelle was a beloved member of the community who dedicated her life to her family and faith.
Maybelle was a devoted homemaker, known for her nurturing spirit, gentle wisdom, and unwavering commitment to those she loved. She was an active member of the First Assembly of God, where she found joy and fellowship in the congregation and participated in various community service activities. Her involvement with O.A.S.I.S. allowed her to form lasting friendships and contribute positively to her community.
Maybelle was preceded in death by her parents, Everett N. Sims and Virginia Elder Sims, her beloved husbands, Ira Conley and Paul E. Reeder, her son Larry Conley, sisters Jean Wilson and Evelyn Greenleaf, brother James E. Sims, granddaughter Jessica Lynn Paik, and infant granddaughter Lisa Conley. Despite these profound losses, her resilience and faith remained steadfast.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her surviving family: her son James Conley and daughter-in-law Nancy Conley; her grandchildren, Patrick B. Conley and Jamie Leigh Marston; and her great-grandchildren, Daniel Conley, Raegan Conley, Teylor Conley, and Erik Paik. She was a beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews, including a special connection with her niece, LuAnn Wilson and husband Jim.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This will be followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Brad Puckett. Maybelle will be laid to rest at Lubeck Cemetery, where she will join those she loved and missed dearly.
The arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg. Maybelle will be remembered for her gentle kindness, unwavering faith, and the love she imparted to all who were blessed to know her. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.
