Frances M. Lutz

Frances M. Lutz, 85, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at her residence.She was born October 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Elsie M. Finch Gorrell. Frances had previously worked at Nelson's/Rite Aid Drug Store for 29 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and watching game shows.Frances is survived by her three daughters, Connie Ice of Salem, W.Va.; Carla Lutz of Belpre, OH; and Sarita Foutty, of Belpre, OH; five grandchildren, Kim Montgomery, Angie Long, Rachelle Ice, Philip Foutty, and Jennifer Lutz; several great-grandchildren, including Hunter Lutz which resided with Frances; and one sister, Betty Cornell and husband Robert of Parkersburg, W.Va.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Lutz; three brothers, Omer, Howard and Kenneth Gorrell; and one sister, Florence Simmons. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Robert Cornell officiating. Interment will follow at the Torch Cemetery in Torch, Ohio.Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
