Frances (Fran), Marie Edgell, 79, of Waverly, W.Va. passed away December 16, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born March 8,1936 in Given, W.Va., a daughter of the late William and Mary Anderson Wilson. Frances was a homemaker. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Williamstown Church of God where she enjoyed singing in the choir in her younger years. She loved the outdoors. She loved her flower gardens, the ocean and target shooting with her husband Phil. She is survived by her spouse, Phillip Edgell; one son, Steve Lanham of Ripley, W.Va.; one special niece whom she considered a daughter, Millie Solomon of Aiken, SC; one step-daughter, Alora Headlee (Pete) of Waverly; one step-son, Larry Edgell (Caroline) of Greenville, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Carrie, Andrea, Caleb and T.J.; six step-grandchildren, Denise, Derek, Justyn, Josh, Candice, and Daniel and three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Zoey and Lewis; six step-great-grandchildren, River, Lily, Caitlyn, Calvin, Aiden, and Colton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lewis Lanham; and two brothers, Orville and Othelle Wilson. Funeral services for Frances will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, W.Va.. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
