Floyd Burl Utt, 73, of Belleville, W,Va, went home to be with his Lord on December 27, 2015. He was born May 27, 1942 to the late Floyd O. and Jean M. (Hutchinson) Utt. Burl is survived by his wife of 52 years, Tracee(Cooper)Utt. Surviving children are Deborah Martin (Paul), Stephanie DeBerry (Jeff), Anthony Utt, and J.P. Queen (Jessica). Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, one brother, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters preceded Burl in death.Burl graduated from PHS in 1960, served in the U.S. Army, and retired from DuPont after 35 years. He was a 40+ year volunteer 4-H leader and Shooting Sports instructor as well as a 4-H camp trustee. Burl was a member of the 19th Street Church of God and taught Sunday school at the Mid Ohio Valley Healthcare for 14 years. He taught hunters education for the DNR and loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Mr. Utt donated his body for medical research at WVU Medical School. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at the 19th Street Church of God, Parkersburg, W.Va.
