Florence A. Snyder

Florence A. Snyder, 77, of Parkersburg, passed away February 10, 2024 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Gladys Farnsworth Whipkey.

She was a dedicated mother and grandmother that participated in many activities of her children and grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a Christian in Faith.

She is survived by her children, Dannie F Snyder, Jr. (Debbie) of Elizabeth, Pamela Kiger (Mark) of Dunnellon, FL, Patricia Snyder-Reynolds (Chris) of Davisville, Michelle Clendenin (Mark) of Parkersburg, and Christopher Snyder of Parkersburg; three sisters, Vera Hudson, Betty Stanley, and Sharon Burge; two brothers, Delbert and Richard Whipkey; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dannie Snyder; a son, Shawn Snyder; a granddaughter, Victoria Snyder; sisters, Glenda Whipkey, Twila Francis, and Mary Austin; and brothers David L. Whipkey and Franklin H. Whipkey.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Family will accept visitors on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
