Evelyn Irene Ross Elder

Evelyn Irene Ross Elder age 84, of Belpre, Ohio formally of Las Vegas, Nevada went to be with the Lord, April 21, 2020 after an extended illness. She was born April 11, 1936 in Jackson, MI, a daughter of the late Norman and Laura Kitchen Ross. Evelyn enjoyed many activities such as painting, pottery, crafts, and playing the piano and organ. She leaves behind what she loved the most, her family and her pet bird, Chip. She blessed them with lots of love and memories that will be cherished. Evelyn is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack W. Elder; her children, Ron (Robertta) Elder of Belpre and Dianne Cowie of Las Vegas, NV; her sister, Ellen Seibert of Huntington Beach, CA; granddaughter, Laura (Jenna) Elder of Parkersburg, WV; grandsons, William (Jennifer Newman) Elder of Morgantown, WV and Jason Cowie and Jessie Cowie both of Las Vegas; great-granddaughters, Kyra Elder of Parkersburg, Ella Fortney of Parkersburg, Ava and Aria Newman both of Morgantown, Lillian Templeton of St. Mary’s, WV and many extended family and friends. Per Evelyn’s wishes, there will be no services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Belpre is honored to serve the Elder family.
