Evelyn Marie Farmer 85 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born January 5, 1931 in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Elmer and Susan Barker Holstine. Evelyn was retired from St. Joseph's Hospital, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Cairo Lodge and attended North Fork Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Andrew C. Farmer; her daughter, Wanda Greer (John) of Vienna; her sister, Lillian Poole (Bob) of Akron, Ohio; four brothers, John and Leonard Holstine both of Smithville, W.Va., Ed Holstine (Fonda) of Akron, and Paul Holstine (Linda) of Vienna; and four grandchildren, John Greer Jr., James and Andrew Greer, and Allyn Greer (Marci). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bessie Garrison and Pearl Burrows; and one brother, Elmer Holstine Jr. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m.. Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave.Vienna with Pastor Darrell Farley officiating. Interment will follow at the Cairo Masonic Cemetery, Cairo, W.Va. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. Thursday with evening Eastern Star Services, during visitation at the funeral home.
