Evelyn DiClemente, 74, of Parkersburg passed away Sunday May 29, 2011 at her home with her family, after an extended illness. She was born November 17, 1936 in Ritchie County, a daughter of the late Bernard and Ruby Phillips Nichols.Evelyn retired from Yonkers Mfg, Nashua Photo, and Krogers on 7th street. She was a member of the Murphytown United Methodist Church, and the Eastern Star.She is survived by her husband Gene DiClemente; her children, James (Donna) Turner, Lynn (Glen) Alleman, John (Stacy) Shearon, and Gary DiClemente; grandchildren, Kirsten, Jenna, and Hailey Shearon, Tyler Jackson, Cassie (Justin) and Zach Alleman, Matthew, Jessica and Rebeca DiClemente; nieces and nephews, Charles, Lisa, Marissa and Marco DeClemente; a special sister-in-law, Karen DiClemente.In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceeded in death by two sisters; Florence and Betty Lou; one brother, Gene; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday June 2nd , 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, south Parkersburg, with Rev. Mary Zimmer officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Island Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the funeral home. The family requests contributions be made to Amedisys Hospice.
