Evelyn B. Dadisman, age 86, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on January 21, 2020 surrounded by family after a brief illness. Evelyn was born in Pennsboro, West Virginia on January 12, 1934 of the late Henry and Michie Mae Straight of St. Mary’s, West Virginia. She graduated from Pennsboro High School and continued on to receive her degree in nursing from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Clarksburg, WV. Evelyn was married to Robert L. Dadisman on August 18, 1957 in Glendale, WV. They were married for 57 years. Evelyn worked as a Registered Nurse for 31 years. During her career she worked on the OB Floor at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Parkersburg, WV. She enjoyed painting ceramics, quilting, gardening and activities involving the church. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Dadisman (Mona) of Charlotte, NC; Jennifer Gamba (Michael) of Prosperity, SC; granddaughter, Cara Chambers (Christopher) of Monroe, NC; grandson, Christopher Hoce of Parkersburg and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Dadisman. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am. Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Dr. Michael Moss officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm. Thursday at the funeral home.
