Evelyn I. Baxter

Evelyn I. Baxter, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Cedar Grove Assisted Living. She was born December 17, 1926, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late William and Essie Shingleton Baxter. Evelyn loved collecting cat memorabilia. She is survived by her niece, Carolyn Bush; her brother, Delbert Baxter (Ida) of Rogersville, TN.; her beloved cat, Frosty; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Edna Morrison, Virginia Lantz, Helen Moore and one brother, William Baxter. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
