Eugene "Bud" S. Roberts

Eugene “Bud” Roberts, 86, of Washington, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born September 20, 1932, in Parkersburg, the son of the late Pearl Autus Roberts Sr. and Wanda Stuart Roberts. Bud was a 1951 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked at DuPont as a Foreman in Butacite and Zytel. Bud enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, camping and was an avid Mountaineer fan. He was a member at South Parkersburg United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathleen “Katy” Smith Roberts; two daughters, Juli Thompson and Kim Reynolds (Jon); three grandchildren, Kris Thompson, Ashlee Reynolds and Angi Reynolds Hunter; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his infant son, Mark Stuart; brother, Pearl “Sonny” Roberts Jr; and his granddaughter, Molly Thompson. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Plyburn officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm. on Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
