Etta Ellen Sergent

Etta Ellen Sergent, 97, of Reedy, WV, passed away January 23, 2024, at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born February 16, 1926 in Billings, WV, a daughter of the late Richard Lee Horton and Lucy Oachel Straight Horton.
Etta graduated from Weston High School, worked as a lab tech at the Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division, for several years and was a member of the Beech-Grove United Methodist Church in Billings, WV.
Etta is survived by one daughter, Deanna Stewart (Ronald Edward Sr.) of Palestine, WV.; two grandchildren, Clayton Dale Stewart (Betsy) of Ironton, OH., Ronald Edward Stewart Jr. (Virginia) of Reedy, WV.; Seven great-grandchildren, Amber, Ethan, Justin, Amy, Jacob, Ashley, and Clayton; two great-great-grandchildren, Stetson and Carson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her husband, Frederick Sergent; one brother, Richard Lee Horton Jr.; and two sisters, Sarah White and Pearl Mannion.

Per Etta and her family, there will be no services.
