Ethel Mavis Bell went home at 100 years of age to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at her Mineral Wells residence.She was born in Mineral Wells, W.Va. on May 30, 1911, the daughter of the late Floyd and Bessie Powell Melrose.Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Merrill Chapel Church in Wirt County, W.Va.She is survived by her son, Charles Bell of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; a granddaughter, Dawn Renee (Mike) Arnold of Wheaton, Ill.; two great- granddaughters; and two great-great-grandsons.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Bell; two daughters, Regina Taylor and Donna Bell; and one great-grandson.Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Reeder Cemetery in Mineral Wells, W.Va. with the Rev. Melvin Boggs officiating.Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va.
