Esther Elizabeth Shilts

Esther Elizabeth Shilts, 83 of New Matamoras, Ohio passed away October 7, 2017 at The Marietta Center. She was born April 22, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio a daughter of the late George and Bertha Christine Adrian Otmer. She was a graduate of Columbus Central High School. She worked at the Heer Printing Company and National Graphics Printing as a Bookbinder. Esther enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. She is survived by two sisters, Ina Skinner and Barbara Fowler both of Grove City, Ohio; and two nephews, George Otmer and Kennard Skinner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Wayne Shilts in 1992; two sisters; and one brother. Per her request there will be no visitation or service. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg is assisting the family.
