Ernest B. Hutson

Ernest B. Hutson Jr., 83, of Washington, W.Va., passed away April 20, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born Jan. 22, 1930, in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Ernest B. and Ona Underwood Hutson. Ernest was a U.S. Navy veteran, and was retired from Elkem Metals with over 35 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodwooking and loved horses.He is survived by his son, Bruce Hutson (Debbie) of Washington, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Aric Hutson (Amanda) of Charleston, S.C., Marissa Maloney (Justin) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Brian Long (Holly) of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Jason Long (Velvet) of Douglas, Ga.; five great-grandchildren, Scott and Aric Hutson Jr., Emma Maloney, Noelle Long and Jaycee Long.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn L. Cooper Hutson, who passed away April 12, 2012; one brother, W.B. Hutson; and two sisters, Betty Lou Hancock and Patricia Aulson.There will be no visitation or services.Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg.
