Eric William Sinnett

Eric William Sinnett, 56, of Belpre, Ohio passed away on October 18, 2015.He was born July 31, 1959 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Charles Sinnett and Virginia Carpenter.Eric was employed by Solvay Advanced Polymers in Marietta, Ohio. He was invaluable to the Belpre community, serving many years on the city council and 35 years with the Belpre Volunteer Fire Department, currently serving as Fire Chief. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 609 and a fan of the Cincinnati Reds. He loved his firefighters like he loved his own family.He is survived by his wife, Charlene Sinnett; a daughter, Skylar Sinnett; sons, Eric Sinnett II (Heather), and Chad Sinnett (Holly Rhodes); step-son, Scott Stanley; grandsons, Eric Sinnett III and Reed Sinnett; a brother, Roger Bullard; and several nieces and nephews all of Belpre, Ohio.In addition to his parents, Eric was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis Sinnett.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at The Celebration Center, 1944 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio with Reverend Will Neff officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio. A Masonic service will be conducted at 7:30 P.M.Memorial donations may be made to the Belpre Volunteer Fire Department.
