Elva W. Buffington

Elva W. Buffington 77, of Vincent, Ohio passed away on November 20, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta Ohio. She was born February 18, 1937 in Wirt County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Friend and Lillie M. Hague Honaker.Elva previously worked at Camps Meat Processing, the Viscose, and O'Ames Plants.She loved playing cards, fishing, camping, riding four wheelers, and watching movies.Elva is survived by her sons, Harold L. Powell (Patty) of Coolville, Ohio and Douglas E. Powell of Vincent, Ohio; daughters, Debra A. Powell, of Belpre, Ohio and Teresa L. Wallace (Kevin), of Waterford, Ohio; a sister, Irene Shepard, of Parkersburg, W.Va.; grandchildren, Tiffany L. Holstein (Brandon) and their child Taylar of Hurricane, W.Va., Tana L. Wallace of Waterford, Ohio, Bryan Babcock of Belpre, Ohio, Rosie Powell and Michael Powell both of Marietta, Ohio; great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her pet bird, Cobra.In addition to her parents Elva was preceded in death by her husband, Gary D.
